Amber has been a log roller for 10 years, and has always been very active with the YMCA log rolling program. Amber is currently rolling as a semi-professional. A senior at Madison Memorial High School, Amber is an award winner for the school’s forensics team. She is also active in drama, and plays the clarinet.

Fiona Cahill |

Fiona has 8 years of log rolling experience with the Madison Log Rolling program, and rolls in the semi-professional and Adult Sport ranks. She began instructing rollers in the summer of 2007. A freshman at UW Madison, Fiona is involved in Madison Savoyards, and is also a lifeguard at the YMCA.

Jackie Steinhauer |

Jackie has been with the Madison Log Rolling program for the past 5 years, and instructing for the past 2 years. Jackie competes in the Adult Sport division, often times beating the much larger men! Her high energy positive spirit makes her a natural teacher! Jackie graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in Biology. She also works as a dance instructor for Miss Pole.

Jeff Steinhauer |

Along with his wife Jackie, Jeff has been log rolling with us for the past 5 years and instructing the past 2. He is a top-ranked Adult Sport competitor. Jeff graduated from Madison Area Technical College with a degree in Architectural Technology and is currently working for Flad Architects. In his free time, Jeff plays a mean game of kickball.

Nate Greenberg |

Nate is proof that adults can learn to log roll. Nate began rolling at the age of 20 and is now a ranked professional log roller and boom runner. He trained for years with the log rollers in Stillwater, Minnesota, but by the insistence of Shana, he recently moved to Madison and began instructing for our program. Nate is a certified EMT but is more known for his world travels.

Olivia Judd |

Olivia has been log rolling for 12 years and holds many amateur titles including amateur world champion, and is a semi-pro world champion. In 2009, Olivia placed third in the STIHL Timbersports Series Boom Run event, televised nationally on ESPN 2. Olivia is a student at the University of Minnesota. Olivia has co-taught the Madison Logrolling programs with Shana for the past 7 years.

Shana Martin |

Shana has been involved in log rolling for the past 23 years. She holds many amateur, semi-professional, and professional log rolling titles, and is the current three-time log rolling and two-time boom running world champion. She is a Great Outdoor Games and ESPN STIHL Timbersports Series Gold Medalist. She is a graduate of UW with a major in Kinesiology, and is currently the Fitness Director at Supreme Health and Fitness in Madison, WI.

Taylor Duffy |

Growing up in Hayward, Wisconsin Taylor was a born log roller and boom runner. She is currently ranked 5th in the world log rolling, and was the 2008 STIHL Timbersports Series Boom Running champion. Taylor just recently moved to Janesville as a Dental Hygienist for Robinson and Prijic Family Dental Associates. In her limited free time, Taylor is an avid cross country skier, competing annually in the Birkebeiner and other ski races.
